  2. The Byrds were one of the very first bands which i began listening to, Turn, Turn, Turn was one of my favorites. I had a copy of the Lp at that time, (thank you santa.). Roger McGuinn still holds a special place in my Collection as does David Crosby/5().

  3. My major issue with The Byrds' debut album was its lack of diversity in its vocal and harmonic approach. In Turn! Turn! Turn! the band has somewhat rectified that issue: resulting in a more diverse record, with the concomitant advantages this entails. The opening track is one of the band's most famous songs: a cover of Peter Seeger's "Turn /5().

  4. * This CD (along with 4 others from The Byrds) was labeled as Re-Mastered, which it was from the original recording. What is deceptive is the release date that was given is May 4, leading one to believe this was a recently Remastered CD. IT IS NOT! The actual Remastering for this CD /5().

  7. A band on their way to somewhere yet never arrived anywhere. Indulge me for a moment please. The Byrds initial album Mr. Tambourine Man had one foot deeply rooted in folk and another slightly in rock n’ roll’, where in they delivered Turn!Turn! Turn!, an album fully steeped in the more folkish side of folk-rock, at a time when The Beatles released their dynamic album Rubber Soul.
